Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to inaugurate smart classrooms in Ganjam schools today

Ganjam: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate smart classrooms in 50 high schools in Hinjli and Sheragada blocks of Ganjam through video conferencing today. He will inaugurate the smart classrooms in five different phases.

Reportedly, CM Naveen Patnaik will inauguarte five classrooms each in both the blocks. All the 50 smart schools will be unveiled by August 30. As many as 10 smart-classrooms will be inaugurated in each phases.

The event will be attended by 108 MLAs including 20 ministers. 23 MLAs have arrived in Tampara today. Two MLAs will attend the inauguration event in one school and hold discussions with panchayat representatives, school monitoring committee, teachers and students.

Each school was granted a fund of Rs 15 lakhs from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Rs 30 lakhs from Mo School Abhiyan. In addition, the panchayat and block funds have also been invested.

Apart from smart-classrooms in all the schools, e-libraries, e-laboratories, modern washrooms, and drinking water filters,etc. The students will be able to study through projectors and white boards instead of the blackboards.

Recently, Odisha 5T secretary V.K.Pandian visited various schools in Sheragada and Hinjli blocks of Ganjam and reviewed the situation of smart classes.
