Berhampur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday distributed offering of Goddess Tarararini (Prasad) to the PRI members during his visit to the Ganjam district.
As per reports, the CM met the PRI members at the famous shrine of Goddess Taratarini in Ganjam district and distributed Prasad and laddu to them.
It is to be noted that during the first wave of Covid 19 Ganjam district was hugely affected. Many Odia people who were working in other States got stranded outside due to Lockdown.
At that time the CM had given power to the Sarpanchs to fight against the pandemic. In many cases the Sarpanchs were witnessed providing services with dedication. Accordingly, the scenario changed while situation developed and the same Ganjam district became an example later.
Today, during his visit to Ganjam district the CM distributed Prasad to the Sarpanchs and other PRIs as well as Zilla Parishad members for their good works that they had executed at the time of distress.
