Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday appealed to the Maoists to shun violence and join the mainstream of the society.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Patnaik said that there is no place for violence in democracy.

The CM’s gesture came a couple of days after seven Maoists were killed by the security personnel in separate encounters in Kandhamal and Balangir districts.
