Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik is likely to be a spectator of India Vs South Africa T20 match at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on June 12.
Reportedly, the Chief Minister has been invited by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) to watch the match, informed Cuttack District Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani.
All necessary preparations have been made for the Chief Minister. However, no official information has been received as of now.
Adding to it, Police DGP Sunil Bansal inspected the security arrangements at Barabati Stadium in the presence of Police Commissioner, Cuttack DCP, Cuttack District Commissioner, CMC Commissioner.
“The security arrangements have been made stricter and mock drill has also been conducted. The spectators should come and watch the match in peace for which their coordination is also needed,” said DGP.
