Odisha CM launches BSKY Smart Health Card distribution in Koraput, Nabarangpur

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday launched the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) distribution in Korapur and Nabarangpur districts through video conferencing.

About 12 lakh people of Koraput will be benefited with this card while about 11.3 lakh people of Nabarangpur district will reap the benefit. After today, 23 districts of Odisha were included to get benefit of this smart health card.

On this occasion the CM inaugurated the statue of former Minister Harischandra Buxipatra.

The CM also inaugurated projects worth Rs. 1000 crore for Koraput.

On this occasion the CM said that Koraput has evolved as a successful district. Koraput coffee has carved its niche for itself while it has also created opportunities for the tribal people.

Similarly, the CM today launched BSKY Health Card distribution in Nabarangpur and inaugurated projects worth Rs 133 crore for the district.

On this occasion the CM said that Odisha is the only State where the State government is bearing the cost of test and treatment cost of Covid.
