Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a Plasma Bank for the treatment of serious COVID-19 patients at the Capital Hospital here in Odisha on Tuesday through video conference.
The Chief Minister also launched a web portal for plasma donors from across the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik said, ” Preliminary results of Plasma therapy for Covid patients in Odisha have been very encouraging… I am sure plasma donation with the participation of more and more people will become a community-driven people’s movement.”
The Chief Minister also affirmed that his government is dedicated towards providing advanced medical care and treatment to the people of the state.
The State government has decided to open three more plasma therapy facilities in three different hospitals including IGH in Rourkela, VIMSAR in Burla and MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
