Odisha CM Inaugurates Kharavel Bhavan In Bhubaneswar

11 departments to function from the new building

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the newly-constructed Kharavel Bhavan in the state capital.

The eight storied building with basement has been built at a cost of Rs 128 crores and the construction was completed in 2 years by L&T Construction. Officials said that fire prevention features have been installed at the building as per the National Building Code of India.

Offices of as many as 11 departments of the Odisha Government will function in the building. The building has also a restroom and a conference hall for the Chief Minister.

The departments which will function at the building are Industries, MSME, Energy, Science and Technology, Commerce and Transport, Forest and Environment, Labour and ESI, Handlooms Textile and Handicrafts, Housing and Urban Development, Skill Development and Technical Education, and Electronics and IT.
