Odisha CM flags off 6th pilgrimage train of ‘Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana’

Bhubaneswar/Sambalpur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flagged off the 6th train of Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana (pilgrimage train for senior citizens) here on Monday.
Patnaik flagged off the special train through video conferencing at Secretariat by greeting the 998 senior citizens saying them ‘Juhar’. This is the sixth pilgrimage train.
The senior citizens from 10 Southern districts left Sambalpur station and are slated to visit Shirdi, Nasik and Trimbakeshwar.
The fifth phase pilgrimage train was flagged off from Berhampur station on January 4. Total 997 senior citizens from 10 Southern districts had visited Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) and Vellore (Tamil Nadu).
