Odisha CM condoles Doordarshan cameraman’s death in Maoist attack

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday expressed his deeply anguished and convey heartfelt condolences to the family members of the Doordarshan cameraman from Odisha Achyutanand Sahu, who died along with police persons in a Maoist attack in Dantewada of Chhattisgarh.

Taking to his twitter handle, Patnaik said, “Deeply anguished and convey heartfelt condolences for the martyred Doordarshan cameraman from #Odisha Achyutanand Sahu and the police persons who were killed in a Maoist attack today in #Dantewada, Chhattisgarh; wish the bereaved courage to overcome the irreparable loss.”

Sahu of Balangir district was killed and Sub-Inspector Rudra Pratap and Assistant Constable Mangalu were martyred earlier today in a Maoist ambush in Nilawaya village under the Aranpur police station of poll-bound Chhattisgarh.
