Sambalpur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik attended the second convocation of Indian Institutes of Management (IIM)-Sambalpur here on Sunday,
While addressing the students at IIM-Sambalpur, Patnaik said, “As you embark upon your new journey, I would like to say that you are here because you are the best in the country. The nation looks up to you not only as able managers but also as social entrepreneurs who would work to change the world into a better place.”
Patnaik also stated that IIM-Sambalpur is growing fast and positioning itself as a centre of innovation and entrepreneurship.
He suggested that the institute should become an active participant, knowledge partner and a think tank for planning, strategising and reinforcing government schemes for social development.
As many as 45 outgoing students of the institute were awarded degrees and medals by the Chief Minister during the convocation programme.
