New Delhi: Senior Odisha cadre IAS officer Usha Padhee has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Pawan Hans Limited, the flagship helicopter service provider company of the Government of India (GOI). She will be in additional charge in the post.
Earlier, Padhee was serving as the Director of the same company along with his responsibility as the Joint Secretary of Department of Civil Aviation since August 2015.
With the new appointment Padhee has got the honour of becoming the first woman CMD of the mini ratna-I category PSU, the Pawan Hans Limited.
The PSU also posted a welcome note for Padhee on Twitter post his appointment as the CMD.
