Odisha Cabinet approves 6 sewerage projects for Bhubaneswar

Odisha Cabinet approves 7th Pay Commission salary for state govt employeesBhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet gave its nod for three proposals which included six sewerage projects for the state capital city on Monday.

According to Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, these six sewerage projects will be completed by 2020.

The other two proposals which the state Cabinet gave its green signal include irrigation projects in three blocks of Bargarh district and Gangadhar Meher Lift Canal System.

Agriculture Minister Damodar Rout, after the Cabinet meet, informed that the irrigation projects for Shela, Bijepur and Barpali blocks in Bargarh district were approved.  The state government will spend Rs 1246 crore on this project. The tender process for the project will be completed by March next year, he added.
