Odisha: Bus Passenger Injured In Arrow Attack In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A male passenger sustained critical injuries after being hit by an arrow in the bus he was travelling in near Bali hill under Daitari police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Tuesday evening.

The victim has been identified as Uttam Mahanta, a worker at a mine in Daitari.

According to reports, around 25 mine workers were returning from their workplace in a bus when some unidentified miscreants launched multiple arrows towards the vehicle.

One of the arrows entered inside the bus through its window and penetrated Uttam’s belly leaving him critically injured.

Soon after, Uttam was rushed to Tata Hospital in Duburi. His health condition was stated to be stable, when the last reports came in.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Daitari police station in this connection.
