Bhubaneswar: The Odisha vigilance on Tuesday conducted a raid at the residence and property of Kabita Mathan, an Anganwadi worker of Karidakanta Anganwadi Center in Bhubaneswar regarding possession of assets disproportionate to her known sources of income.
The Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous searches at six places including her double storeyed residential house at Kesura in Bhubaneswar, two three storeyed building at Jharpada in Bhubaneswar, one single storeyed building in Jharpada, Bhubaneswar, paternal house of Kabita in Pattamundei of Kendrapara and paternal house of Banambar Nayak, husband of Kabita at Jainabad in Jagatsinghpur district.
The raid was conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
The raid is still underway.
