In a big development, Assembly Speaker Niranjan Pujari has resigned from his post this evening ahead of the Ministry Reshuffle to be effected by CM Naveen Patnaik soon.
After tendering his resignation to Deputy Speaker Sanand Marandi, Pujari told the reporters that he resigned to devote more time to his constituency.
It can be recalled that BJD failed to do well in Niranjan Pujari’s Constituency – Sonepur in the recently concluded panchayat polls in the State.
