Puri: Police today arrested a 72-year-old man for allegedly harassing his daughter in law sexually for past few years in the district.
Police said that the accused a retired Railway Police personnel has been arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by his daughter in law.
The woman has alleged of being sexually harassed in the absence of her husband for the last few years. She has also levelled dowry harassment allegation against her sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
The woman hailing from Satasankha area under Pipili police limits had married at Kumabharapada in Puri Town.
The woman has also produced a video clip to substantiate her allegations. On the other hand, the accused pleaded innocence and alleged that he was falsely implicated in the case.
