Rayagada: Ganja having an estimated market value of over Rs 60 lakh has been seized by Muniguda police, four persons have been arrested in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a speeding car and a truck last night and conducted a search.
During the search, the officials recovered 6 quintals and 40 kilograms of ganja and seized it.
As many as four people have been detained since they could not produce valid proof regarding the possession of the contraband.
Further investigation into the matter is underway to unearth other details, said the police.
