Cuttack: Odisha 5Ts Secretary VK Pandian along with senior officials visited the SCB Medical College and Hospital here in the early morning on Wednesday.
Pandian arrived at the hospital at around 4.30 AM today. He was accompanied by National Health Mission Director Shalini Pandit and Health Secretary Pramod Kumar Meherda during the visit.
Sources said, the senior bureaucrats held discussions with SCB Medical College Dean Jayashree Mohanty, Superintendent Saroj Sahu and departmental heads over various aspects of the hospital including health care services.
Notably, a high level meeting, chaired by CM Naveen Patnaik, is scheduled to be held at Lok Seva Bhawan in the State capital this evening in connection to the SCB hospital.
