Cuttack: 5T Secretary VK Pandian and a team of senior bureaucrats visited Cuttack in the morning today to review the progress of the Taladhanda canal expansion work in Cuttack.
Taladanda Canal left and right embankment road in Cuttack will be inaugurated by CM Naveen Patnaik tomorrow. Secretary to CM and 5T Secretary VK Pandian, Works Secretary Krishnan and Energy Secretary NB Dhal inspected the site at Cuttack early in the morning today.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha during visit to Cuttack on January 23 announced regarding the up-gradation of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack to a AIIMS + Hospital for the better health service facilities for the people of Odisha.
For which the improvement to existing Taladanda Canal Left and Right embankment road was felt necessary for easy access of patients and ambulances approaching from different places of Odisha. These both embankment road will connect to Cuttack Ring Road near Jobra Barage for the better connectivity from outer city to SCB Medical facilitating easy and quick access of patients to avail health facilities.
Accordingly a Team headed by 5T Secretary along with Secretary, Works/ Energy/ RDC, Cuttack/ Collector, Cuttack and representatives of Health Department inspected the site and decided to improve the existing Taladanda Left Right Canal embankment road to a 3 lane road.
