Odisha: 4 IPS officers promoted to Additional DGP rank

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Thursday promoted four IPS officers of the 1997 batch to the rank of Additional DGP. The four officers are Diptesh K Pattanayak, Asheet Kumar Panigrahi, Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey and Rekha Lohani.

As per a notification issued by the Home Department, Government of Odisha on Thursday, Diptesh Kumar Pattanayak, at present IG Prison and Correctional Service (Additional Charge of CMD, OSRTC) on being promoted to the grade of Additional DG of Police with effect from Jan 1, 2022 is allowed to continue in the present place of posting in the rank of ADG of Police.

Similarly, Asheet Kumar Panigrahi, at present IG, Vigilance, on being promoted to the grade of Additional DG of Police is allowed to continue in the present place of posting in the rank of ADG of Police.

Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey, at present Special Secretary to CM on being promoted to the grade of ADGP with effect from January 1, 2022 is allowed to continue in the present place of posting in the rank of ADGP.

Rekha Lohani, at present Additional Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, on being promoted to the grade of ADGP with effect from January 1, 2022 is allowed to continue in the present place of posting in the rank of ADGP.

Accordingly, they will continue in the present place of posting in the rank of ADG.
