Koraput: As many as three government officers and one clerk have been suspended in Patangi of Koraput district in Odisha.
According to reports, there has been a fund misappropriation of as much as three crore seventy lakh rupees.
The suspended officers are the tehsildar of Patangi, the additional tehsildar, ex-tehsildar, the BDO-in-charge Arun Kumar Khanda and the clerk Sudhir Kumar Sahoo.
The Revenue Department has taken necessary steps to suspended the officers.
Within the timespan of 2017 to 2022 a misappropriation of as much as three crore seventy lakh rupees has been done.
