Odisha: 3 Arrested, 1.32 kgs of Brown Sugar, 1.65 Lakh Cash Recovered

Khordha: On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by a team of Special Task Force (STF) Bhubaneswar at Razabazar under Jatni Police Station.

In the raid illegal possession of Narcotic Drugs was unearthed and three accused persons were apprehended.

The three persons who were apprehended by the police have been identified as:

1) Sk Samir, 2) Syed Imtiyaz Rajabazar, and 3) Ratiranjan Routray

They belong to Gajapatinagar Police Station and Harirajpur, Majhisahi Police Station in Delang district of Puri.

It is noteworthy that, during the search Brown Sugar weighing 01 kg 320 gm, cash of Rs.1,65,000/- one bike (Pulsar) and other incriminating materials were recovered and seized from their possession.

The accused persons could not produce any document or authority for possession of such
contraband Brown Sugar.

The three persons have been arrested and will be forwarded to the court. A case has been registered in this connection by the STF under the NDPS Act 1985.

Investigation is still underway.
