New Delhi: Odia girl Amita Panda has been crowned as Mrs. Central Pacific Asia Universe 2019 at an event in New Delhi. After winning the beauty pageant, Amita will now represent India in Mrs. Universe 2019, where Mrs. Universe Julia Gershun of Monaco will crown the winner.
Amita is an IT Professional. She has earlier bagged the crowns of Mrs. India Galaxy 2018 and Mrs. Social Icon 2018.
She is the wife of Dr. Prabhanjan Mohapatra, a Bhubaneswar-based cardiologist.
After winning the title, Amita thanked the people of Odisha for their love and support and expressed her excitement at representing India in Mrs. Universe 2019.
