Bhubaneswar: Well-known Odia Cinematographer Bijay ku Swain passed away in a private hospital here on Wednesday following a brain stroke.
He was 42. On Wednesday, around 5.30 pm he passed away in a private hospital in Bhubaeswar while undergoing treatment. On Friday evening, while shooting at the set he suddenly fell unconscious and then immediately he was shifted to the hospital.
Bijay has worked as a lensman in many Odia serials, “Bada Ghara Bada Gumara Katha, Tapasya, Sanskaar, Rani and Tara Tarini”. He has worked in the Odia Industry for the past 15 years.
Bijay was a resident of Uku Sahi in Tirtol of Jagatsinghpur district. He is survived by his wife and a nine-year old son. He was the eldest among his siblings and all the family members were dependent on him.
