Cuttack: The Cuttack administration on Saturday declared Nuasahi village of Patasundarpur panchayat in Niali block as containment zone, after one person succumbed to COVID-19 and 14 people tested positive.
The containment order will remain in force from 6 AM on Saturday till 6 AM on January 4, informs Cuttack sub-collector.
During this period,no person will be allowed to go outside the containment zone and no outsiders will be allowed to enter the zone and contact tracing will be intensified in the area.
Also, the commercial establishments have been asked to close down.
