Nuapada DSP Caught Red Handed While Taking Bribe Of Rs 5,000

Nuapada: The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Nuapada Sadar Thana was caught red-handed by vigilance sleuths while taking a bribe of Rs. 5,000.

As per reports, the DSP Rabindra Sethi was arrested by vigilance officials while he was taking a bribe from one Jagdish Chhura of Narasinghpur. Sethi had demanded the bribe for filing an investigation report. He was arrested by Bhawanipatna vigilance department headed by Satyavan Mahananda.

Following the DSP’s arrest, his office and residence were raided by Kalahandi and Koraput vigilance officials. His residence at Kujanga village was also raided by the vigilance.

Officials informed that Sethi will be soon forwarded to Kalahandi Special Vigilance Court.
