Cuttack: ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack will be organizing the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) tournament for Eastern Zone Sports Meet, 2019 at the institute between November 18 and 22.
Organisers said that as many as 22 ICAR institutes located in the Eastern Zone of India and more than 500 players will participate in the event.
“The event will be inaugurated by the Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack Dr. H Pathak. Dr. SK Ambast, Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Water Management, Bhubaneswar and AK Behera, Secretary, Odisha Kabaddi Association have given their kind consent to be the special guest of the function,” said an official.
