No Covid Report Required For Entry Into Jagannath Temple

Puri: Great relief for Jagannath devotees, Covid negative certificate is no longer required to visit the famous temple in Odisha.

This means that the Covid test is not mandatory for devotees of Srimandir. So everyone visiting the temple will be screened and allowed to enter the temple premises.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar informed about this development after a high-level meeting held here today.

“Devotees will not be required to submit Covid negative report to enter Srimandir from January 21. They can have darshan  of the deities from 7 am and 30,000 devotees will be allowed to enter the temple every day. A separate queue will be made for senior citizens,” said the SJTA Chief.

Darshan to remain closed on all Sundays.
