Newly-wed absconds after wedding in Bhubaneswar, Complete details revealed
Bhubaneswar: In today’s update regarding the newly-wed woman who had absconded a day after her marriage after looting gold and cash, she has refuted the allegations made by her in-laws.
Reportedly, she has alleged that the husband and his family were torturing her.
She denied looting cash along with gold from her in-laws’ house and asked to provide evidence for all the allegations that have been made against her, added reports.
Adding to it, she was being tortured by her in-laws over dowry issues. On refusal of the dowry, her husband threatened to kill her, she further alleged.
” I have been humiliated in the society. Hence, I will take a legal step on this issue as I need justice,” she said.
It is to be noted that the incident took place in the Bharatpur police station area of Bhubaneswar.
Her in-laws had tied the knot on May 12 and fled from her in-laws’ house on May 13 after robbing off around 50 gms of gold as well as Rs 1.5 lakhs cash.
The woman’s in-laws’ have filed a complaint with Bharatpur police station and alleged that she was chatting with her lover on the first night of her marriage following which she looted gold and cash.
