Newborn baby stolen from Govt hospital in Odisha’s Patnagarh

Patnagarh: An unidentified woman allegedly stole a newborn baby boy from the Patnagarh Sub Divisional Hospital in Odisha’s Balangir district on Wednesday.

According to reports, a woman from Telenpali area had delivered a baby boy at the government-run-hospital on Sunday and was there for post-partum care.

The accused woman reportedly visited the hospital this morning. She lifted the newborn baby and told her mother that the baby boy was very beautiful. Then she fled with the baby.

Meanwhile, the missing newborn’s father Rudramani lodged a complaint at Patnagarh hospital in this connection, while some of his relatives ransacked property of the hospital demanding justice.
