Keonjhar: A newborn baby girl was found to be abandoned in Keonjhar and has been rescued. A newborn was found abandoned in Kumutia canal of Manata village of Ghatagaon in Keonjhar.
The villagers heard her cries as they had gone to bathe in the canal.
They rescued the girl and took her to the nearest healthcare centre.
The doctor there declared her bought dead. Police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter.
