NEET question papers to be same in all languages
Bhubaneswar: Union Human Resource Development minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday said that students appearing the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) across the country will have the same question papers.
The Minister made the clarification while replying to a question about the West Bengal Education Minister’s recent complaint that the students appearing for all medical entrance examinations in vernacular languages had faced tougher questions than the ones set in English and Hindi this year.
Javadekar said that the vernacular question papers for NEET will be mere translations of the question papers in English.
He further said that his Ministry is mulling introduction of the ‘one nation one test’ in engineering too.
