“The abrupt suspension of the existing operations has been a severe jolt to the Aviation and Tourism sectors in the state. Similarly, the withdrawal of the domestic flight between Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar has come as a setback for the IT industry in the state,” the letter reads.
Taking to the notice of Prabhu the fact that Air India made a delay in starting international flight services for Biju Patanaik International Airport (BPIA) the CM wrote, although, Bhubaneswar airport got international tag on October 30, 2010, the Bhubaneswar-Bangkok flight was flagged off only on December 10, 2017.
