Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday thanked the people of the state on reaching the milestone of one million followers on his Twitter handle yesterday.
“The 4.5 crore Odias are my family, thankful to have received so much love and affection on Twitter,” tweeted Patnaik in Odia in his thanksgiving message to the people of the state today.
The Chief Minister also added a video which features some of his major achievements till date and the time he has spent with the people from different walks of life.
“Thanks to each & everyone of you. I value your love & affection. Let’s make this relationship stronger & work together for #Odisha & people,” Patnaik had said on his Twitter handle yesterday.
Naveen had joined the microblogging site on September 09, 2015 with the handle @Naveen_Odisha. His first tweet was “Jai Jagannath…”
He has the highest number of followers among politicians in Odisha.
The CM is following 23 persons on Twitter. Entrepreneur and business leader Subroto Bagchi, telecom engineer, inventor, entrepreneur and policymaker Sam Pitroda, former Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee are among those Naveen follows on Twitter.
