As part of his month-long review meetings with the newly elected Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) representatives of the 30 districts of the state, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met the PRI members of Ganjam and Gajapati districts on Wednesday.
According to reports, Patnaik met the newly elected Zilla Parishad Members, Samiti Members, Sarpanch and Ward Members of the districts at the party headquarter office in Bhubaneswar.
Sources said, the PRI representatives informed the grass root level problems and gave some suggestions to overcome those. Besides, they also intimated the BJD supremo about the performance of the party in the recent Panchayat election. Patnaik has promised to address their issues and hold another review meeting after six months.
