National Road Safety Short Film Festival 2022: Jajpur’s Priyadarshini wins ‘Best Acting Award,’ check full list here

Bhubaneswar: Minor girl N. Priyadarshini Sahoo of Jajpur has reportedly won the ‘Best Child Acting award’ in the recently concluded National Road Safety Short Film Festival 2022.

Priyadarshini Sahoo, who is studying in class one, won the ‘best actress award’ for her acting skills in the short film ‘Thank you Baba.’ She received a cash award of Rs 25,000 along with the certificate and trophy.

The short film ‘Thank you Baba,’ is directed by Priyadarshini Sahoo’s father Biswajit Sahoo of Gokhanpur village. She is belonged to AHWAN: Socio-Cultural Organization in Jajpur.

A total of 230 short films from 8 states including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh were part of the festival which was conducted by State Transport Authority Odisha at Town Hall, Puri on Saturday.

Only 42 films were shortlisted in the first phase and later six films 3 non-Odia and 3 Odia films were chosen for the final round.
