Bhubaneswar: The Nandankanan Zoological Park will be closed for tourists today due to continuous heavy rainfall for the past three days.
The zoo authorities said the decision was taken in view of the safety of tourists as well as the animals. Four safari parks and boating in Kanjia lake will be suspended during this period,added the zoo officials.
The zoo will open for visitors from tomorrow. During the closure period, the zoo authorities will review damage incurred due to incessant rainfall, zoo officials said today.
