Nabarangpur: The girl students of a school in Nabarangpur district of Odisha have brought allegation that their Chemistry teacher use to misbehave them and make obscene gestures.
The said teacher has been identified as Amar Kumar Nath, the Chemistry teacher of their School.
As per reports, the girl students of the Ekalavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Hirli area of Nabarangpur district have complained that their Chemistry teacher has been misbehaving and making obscene gestures towards them since long. They have also complained the matter to the principal on May 8.
Also, the boy students of the school have complained that the said chemistry teacher purposefully calls only girl students to the laboratory.
After getting this complain the District administration today swung into action and formed a task force team to probe the matter.
In this matter the District Welfare officer, the members of the child welfare committee (CWC) and the DSWO have discussed with the students and staff of the school. They have assured that after the investigation will be complete, action will be taken against the culprit.
On the other hand many Tribal organisations have demanded arrest of the teacher within 24 hours.
