Mumbai: Two youths from Odisha who were arrested for their involvement in the much-hyped Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case have been granted bail.
The Mumbai-based special NDPS Court granted bail to Manish Rajgharia and Abhin Sahoo of Rourkela. This was informed by Rajgharia’s lawyer Ajay Dubey.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested Manish after seizing 2.4 grams of ganja while Abhin was nabbed after he confessed to have used the cannabis.
The NCB had taken both Manish and Abhin on remand and interrogated them after arresting in connection with drugs in a party aboard a luxury cruise off Mumbai coast.
It is to be noted here that the NCB busted the Mumbai cruise rave party after conducting a raid on the night of October 2 and arrested several people including Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and his friend Arbaaz Merchant.
As many as 20 youths from Odisha reportedly attended the party. Among them, 14 were been identified as residents of Rourkela while six were from Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
