Cuttack: Kendrapara MP and Ollywood actor Anubhav Mohanty on Tuesday moved the Orissa High Court over his marital discord with against wife actress Varsha Priyadarshini.
According to reports, Anubhav Mohanty approached the High Court seeking fixation of date for the final hearing of his divorce petition against Varsha Priyadarshini.
He has pleaded with the court to complete the hearing within six months.
The divorce petition filed by Anubhav at the Patiala House Court on July 6, 2020, has been transferred to the Cuttack Family Court on the orders of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had an order for an expedited hearing of the case. But there was no deadline for that order.
Earlier, both Anubhav and Varsha had appeared at the Conciliation Centre in Cuttack for counselling. Before this, only Anubhav had appeared at the Conciliation centre on July 9 and on July 14.
