MP Achyuta Samanta meets Railway Minister, reiterates demand for railway connectivity to Kandhamal

New Delhi: Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samanta met Union Railways & Communication, Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today and reiterated his longstanding demand for railway connectivity to Kandhamal Parliamentary Constituency.

Samanta reportedly met Vaishnaw at his latter’s office and handed him over a memorandum urging him to expedite rail connectivity to Kandhamal Parliamentary Constituency starting from Phulbani.

The Union Minister also reportedly assured to look into the matter, said sources.

MP Samanta also thanked the Union Minister for setting up 4G mobile towers connectivity at 1094 villages of Kandhamal district.

It is to be noted here that ever since he became the MP in 2019, Samanta has been demanding railway connectivity to the Parliamentary Constituency.
