Angul: A transport vehicle on Sunday caught fire while it was still on road. The vehicle belongs to the blood bank of the Angul District Hospital.
Reportedly, the vehicle was going to Chandipada when the driver and another hospital staff noticed smoke coming out of the engine at Angul’s Medical Square. They got off the vehicle unharmed.
The local fire services were immediately informed who promptly brought the fire under control. A short circuit is doubted to be the reason behind the fire.
