Motilal Oswal-KISS Residential Tribal School to be inaugurated in Balangir tomorrow

Balangir: After Mayurbhanj, now it is time for the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) in Balangir. A branch of KISS is to be inaugurated tomorrow in Balangir of Odisha. This Motilal Oswal-KISS residential school will be instrumental for educating the tribal students. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate the school on Saturday, that is on February 15, in Balangir.

Among the other dignitaries, Motilal Oswal, the Managing Director of the Motilal Oswal Financial Services Group, Smt. Vimala Oswal, Group chairman Ramdeo Agarwal, Motilal Oswal Foundation chairperson Sunita Agarwal, Odisha Women and Child Development and Mission Shakti Minister Tukuni Sahu, Balangir MP Sangeeta Kumari Singhdeo, Balangir MLA Narasingha Mishra and Founder of KISS and KIIT, Kandhamal MP Dr. Achyuta Samanta will be present on this occasion. The inauguration will take place at 11 am tomorrow.

Tribal students of Balangir district will get an opportunity to get admitted to this institution. Akin to KISS’ Bhubaneswar and Baripada branch, in KISS Balangir also the students will be provided with education, living, food and study materials free of cost.

The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences has been providing education to more than 30,000 students. Over the years the institution has come up as the World’s biggest Tribal school. So far, about 20,000 students have passed out from KISS and have been appointed in different positions inside and out of the state.
