Bhubaneswar: The mortal remains of two Odia CRPF jawans who attained martyrdom in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama terror attack last Thursday will reach here today.
The slain jawans, Prasanna Sahu and Manoj Behera will be consigned to the flames with full state honour at their respective native villages later in the day.
While the last rites of Sahu will be performed at Shikhar village under Nuagaon police limits of Jagatsinghpur district, the same would be carried out for Behera at his village Ratanpur village under Niali area in Cuttack district.
Notably, the martyred Odia jawans boarding the same CRPF vehicle which was hit by an explosive-laden SUV being driven by a Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) terrorist at 3.15 pm last Thursday. At least 45 jawans were killed in the attack.
