More than 30 Covid positives detected in XIMB Bhubaneswar, Containment zone declared

Bhubaneswar: Amid the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the state, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday has declared one hostel of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) as a containment zone.

Reportedly, more than 30 students of the premier B-school hostel have been tested positive for Covid-19.

It is to be noted that during the 2nd wave of coronavirus, BMC had also sealed the XIMB campus after several students tested positive for the virus.

Apart from XIMB, BMC has also declared many other places in Bhubaneswar have been declared as micro containment zones. Following are some of the areas under the list of micro containment zones along with the number of Covid positives:
