More Than 20 Lakh People Vaccinated In Odisha, New Batch Of Covid Vaccines To Reach By April

Bhubaneswar: More than 20 lakh people have been vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccines in 56 days. Another 9,88,000 doses of vaccine will arrive Odisha on April 2.

It took 45 days to vaccinate 10 lakh people under the vaccination drive. In the second phase it took 11 days to vaccinate more 10 lakh people in the state.

According to reports, on Wednesday a total of 56,601 senior citizens were vaccinated in Odisha which took the total number of vaccinated senior citizens to 10,83,021.

As many as 1346 health workers and front line warriors have received the first dose of Covid vaccines yesterday. So far, as many as 3,10,084 health workers and 1,81,998 front line warriors have received the first dose.

Meanwhile, the number of front line warriors who have received the second dose has touched 1,29,994.

A total 3,70,000 Covid vaccines had reached Odisha on Wednesday. However, the vaccination drive will be paused in some districts for two days on March 31 and April 1.
