More than 100 fall ill after eating prasad in Odisha

Hundreds of people have fallen sick and have been affected with diarrhea after consuming prasad. All the infected have been admitted to the Mahanga Community Health Care center.
According to reports, the Astaprahari was going on in Daryapur near Raisunguda. Hundreds of people from the surrounding villages were a part of the yatra.
Many people in Kanpur, Ramkapur, Dewali, Jayirampur and Gwalipur villages fell ill after eating the prasad, said reliable reports.
As many as two teams from Salepur and Mahanga Community Health Care center have reached the village and are providing treatment to the people. Some people have recovered and have returned home.
