Monsoon Likely To Advance Towards Odisha In Next 4 Days, Different Parts Of State To Witness Rain

Bhubaneswar: A low-pressure area likely to form over North Bay of Bengal by June 11 and catalyse advance of southwest monsoon towards Odisha in next 4 days. This has been informed by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

On the other hand, several parts of the States are expected to receive rainfall, said the weather department.

Districts like Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and Nuapada likely to witness rain from tomorrow.

Likewise, the coastal districts of the States namely Bhadrak, Balasore, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Puri likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall on June 10. Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts also are likely to witness the same.
