Bhubaneswar: Good news for the youth who want to make a career in cricket. They will now get an opportunity for training as the IIG Cricket Academy has been inaugurated at Barunei of Khurda district. Former captain of Team India Mohammad Azharuddin inaugurated the Cricket Academy today.
Azharuddin inaugurated the Cricket Academy, which has Art stadium, training ground, hostel and other facilities, during his visit two-day Odisha visit. He will lead the IIG Cricket Academy which is situated on the campus of KT Global School.
Apart from inaugurating, he also gave some tips to the budding cricketers on how to play good cricket and get selected for the Indian squad.
While speaking to the media persons, the former Indian captain said that the main objective of the IIG Cricket Academy is to bring out the hidden talents of Odisha cricketers so that they can play the game nationally and internationally.
