Mobile Phone Explodes In Odisha’s Puri following online class

Puri: In a fateful incident a minor girl sustained minor injury as the mobile phone that she was using for her online class exploded on Tuesday in Puri district of Odisha.

The victim was identified as Rupsa Palai from Adarshnagar area in Puri district, a standard VII student of Kendriya Vidyalaya.

As per reports, the phone exploded when the girl was writing down the assignments following her online class. It is to be noted that due to Coronavirus pandemic backed lock down, schools in Odisha are rendering education through online classes in these days.

The girl sustained minor burn injuries on her hand due to the blast.

At a time when online class is the only way left for academic education it is time now for the parents of the pupils to adopt sufficient precautions to keep their children far from such accident. It is better to use either a desktop computer or laptop for online classes as the class continues for a few hours in a day. On the other hand a mobile phone gets heated at lesser time which may lead to explosion of the mobile.
